Honor SS12

The NARS makeup team for Honor was lead by James Boehmer.  His inspiration for the look among Tiggy and Penelope Tree was dolls.  But not delicate dolls that sit on a shelf, he specified.  This look is the doll you love, the one you play with, the one that’s a little worn and rough around the edges.

skin: NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer with SPF 20

eye liner: NARS Black Moon pencil liner, NARS Larger Than Life Long Wear Eyeliner in Rue Bonaparte

eye shadow: NARS Blush in Doucuer (used as eyeshadow), NARS Larger Than Life Long Wear Eyeliner in Santa Monica Boulevard (used as shadow)

lips: NARS Pure Matte Lipstick in Valprasio used as a stain

First, the skin was prepped with Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer.  Next the lashes were drawn onto the lower lash line using Black Moon.  A bit of loose power was dusted over the lashes followed by 12 to 15 coast of mascara to give the eyes a clumpy, doll-like effect.  Next Doucer blush was used a a shadow on the crease and Santa Monica Boulevard liner was smudged onto the center of the lids using the finger.  Rue Bonaparte eyeliner was applied to the inner rim of the lower lid and Valprasio was applied with the finger as a stain to the lips.
