John and I are putting on a benefit for the Innocence Project, a national litigation and public policy organization dedicated to exonerating wrongfully convicted people through DNA testing and reforming the criminal justice system. The Innocence Project has thus far helped to exonerate 300 people, some of who served time on death row. These people served an average of 13 years before their exoneration and release.

Help us help those who are unjustly imprisoned. Come see John Mulaney and Friends at the Bell House on June 6th; 100% of the proceeds go toward DNA testing for the wrongfully accused. The early show is already sold out, but there are still tickets available for the late show HERE.

If you can’t make it to the show but still want to help us out, please make a donation to the INNOCENCE PROJECT.

This is my friend Trista, and those are her three kids. Trista and I went to high school together. She wasn’t your typical Connecticut 17 year-old. In a school full of people who generally all look the same, Trista stood out as an individual. She always marched to the beat of her own drum which was then, and still is now, why I like her so much.

Recently, Trista was diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer, which metastasized into her lymph nodes and bones. Doctors gave her 6 months to a year to live, but knowing Trista, there is no way she will accept that. Over the past couple months not only has Trista fought like a real-life version of Wonder Woman, she has done so with more grace and positivity than one would ever expect from someone going through what she is. If you knew Trista you would be marveled by her bravery, by her inability to be defeated, and by how grateful she is each day for her children, her boyfriend, and her family.

You know what would be REALLY great?! If you out there could also help Trista! If you live the NY/CT area and like hardcore, you should definitely go to the benefit Trista’s boyfriend is putting on for her. The poster with all the info is above! RESERVE TICKETS HERE

John wins at Valentine’s day. This bouquet just showed up at my door, the card is from Marcus, a character from the Lifetime Original Movie “Fatal Reunion,” which we watched this past week. Spoiler alert: Later today I will find out that it is not, in fact, Marcus who is stalking me, but his jealous ex wife. Also a car will try to hit me and I will be carrying groceries which will obviously fly everywhere.
