Self Portrait Assignment: Photograph yourself as an 80 year old. Like all my photos for this class I first developed a narrative.  It was based on my own vanity and my admiration for Martha Graham.  I saw my self as a glamorous 80 year old who still wears dramatic black eyeliner winged out to my temples.  I had a long career as a dancer until I was tragically injured in a motorcycle accident with my young, french lover Pierre.  He did not survive.  I never married, but kept my beloved cats.  I remain the caretaker of my dear friend and ex-love Ricky’s apartment when he is away on business.  I only wear vintage DVF.
