The Mermaid by John William Waterhouse, 1901
when I was little I left my bedroom window open hoping Peter Pan would come teach me how to fly. I thought if I got to neverland then I could see real mermaids.

These Woodchuck speakers were my super cool birthday gift from Josh and Gab. They are little portable speakers encased in thick paper that fold up origami style into amazing pyramids of sound!!!

Since the day I was born my mom has taken a photo of me on my birthday. When I moved out I made sure to keep up the tradition so when I have kids they can look back at photos of me when I was young, much like I do with my mom. This is me, age 24. My necklace is a birthday present from my mom, a ruby she bought me in India.
